About the doctor
I am an ophthalmologist. I graduated from the Bukovinian State Medical University in Chernivtsi in 2015. I have been in practice since 2017 at the Visium Clinic in Lviv.
I give consultations and manage patients with refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism), cataract, glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration. I manage patients before and after laser vision correction - I do not perform the surgery itself.
I perform laser treatment of the retina in diabetes, in complicated myopia and in peripheral retinal degeneration, and laser treatment of secondary cataract. I give intravitreal injections for retinal vein occlusion and for the wet form of age-related macular degeneration, and injections of botulinum toxin around the eyes.
I work with IPL therapy for dry eye disease and prevention of chalazia, on the Envision by InMode platform, with the Lumecca-I and Forma-I handpieces.
I am used to removing the very cause of the complaints, and not simply treating the fact that a complaint is there. Complications in the eyes come from problems in rheumatology, endocrinology, hypertension or other diseases. That is why we go deep into the problem itself, so as not only to achieve a long remission, but also to prevent, in the future, the return of the complaints that have appeared.
